In many cases the SkyTV dish is still feeding the signal, it’s just about the box setting.

If the box is plugged into power for too long, like for a few weeks without disconnecting, better to disconnect power cord for a while, plug it back again, this is called a “hard reboot”, not a remote controller power off/on.

Next we do a “blind scan” of Oputs D1, only the FTA free channels mode:

All channels will be found and saved, delete those with a dollar $ sign which are SkyTV subscription channels if there are any. Now it’s ready to use, simple like that.

This one is a neighbor next to the previous customer, I just drop by and fix it following the above process, good for them.
