East Tamaki Freeview Satellite Box Installation

On Jan 1st the holiday I drove to East Tamaki in the afternoon for a urgent Freeview fix job. They basically do not know the options of getting any kind of TV.

People are living in the second floor, while we walked around the block we found no access to the roof. There are two cable dropping down from the roof, I tested them, both are SkyTV satellite feeds.

The only way to set up an aerial is on the balcony guard railing, like the first room on right in the photo. Signal might be. A Freeview box has to be added since too bad that the TV got no DTV mode.

It seems like a satellite box is the best option. For $150 gst included I connected a satellite box and manually input all transponders and showed them how to operate it correctly.

Some boxes do not support auto NZ search, different transponder numbers have to been added and searched separately.
